As of June 4, 2025, Citizen Nine26 is proud to mark one year as a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals to reclaim their narratives, heal, and take back their power.
Over the past year, we have worked with 34 clients, helping them:
- Register with the VA
- Connect with attorneys
- Access critical community resources
- Secure essential documents to support their healing journeys
We extend our deepest gratitude to our partners and supporters, including Spokane Community Against Racism (SCAR), McKinstry Co., Smith-Barbieri Foundation, the Racial Justice and Police Misconduct Center, and the many individuals who have stood beside us. Your financial support and guidance have been instrumental in making our mission a reality.
Though Citizen Nine26 was born out of tragedy, it has thrived through love. We are proud of what we’ve accomplished—and even more committed to the work ahead.
We are honored to stand in solidarity and shared purpose with organizations such as:
Peace and Justice Action League, SCAR, Latinos en Spokane, NAACP, Washington Coalition for Police Accountability, Revive, and many more.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. We look forward to another powerful year of impact, growth, and community.
